CALIFORNIA DREAMING

Step in from the gray day outside and be greeted by a tranquil lightness of warmth and organic textures. If nothing else, this space is truly authentic, exuding a confidence that wraps you up and unties you simultaneously. Have you ever walked in from the outdoors and felt inexplicably lighter? Your troubles melt away, you are comfortable and somehow freer? This space will do that. It is a vacation in your own home. Every day the glow of the sunrise appears in the skylight, and as the light spreads, it slowly greets the rest of the space. It brings about a calm energy that resonates in the materials throughout. The textures of the woods appear and warm the space, the light and airy white cabinetry & counter-tops leave room for others to steal the show. The balance arrives in the depths of the black accents: the playful pendants, the grounded island, the cleverly disguised beverage bar.

AZZURE

Nothing feels as tranquil as a sunny day under a clear blue sky or gazing out at a shimmering blue ocean. The color blue triggers feelings of relaxation, peace, quiet, grandness and expansiveness. In this kitchen, blue creates the same feelings of tranquility, space and luxury.

MODERNE

The French seem to be born with the skill of effortless style, that “Je ne Sais Quoi”. Its ability to go above description is where its magic truly lies. This kitchen provides a stunning balance between sophistication and modernism, incorporating bold new elements such as the waterfall edge, unlined faucet, and large format back-splash that blends seamlessly with the sophisticated look of the inset cabinetry and Lacanche range to provide a chic and stylish palette. Everything seems natural, we have incorporated the old with the new and letting unique pieces complement one another and stand together, rather than “matching ”

HELL’S KITCHENS

International Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, known for Michelin-starred restaurants and Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen TV show hired Ferrarini & Co. to design, renovate, and furnish his Executive Chef Christina Wilson’s home. We reconfigured the kitchen so Wilson would be able to see straight through the home to the backyard as soon as she walks in the front door.

JOHN LENNON

John Lennon would have been 75 today. The Englishman’s style, just like his music, is still undeniably relevant in 2018. This bathroom invoked a certain John Lennon feel with an overall mid-century style and two glaring round mirrors that can’t help but remind you of John’s classic round sunglasses. Considering we inadvertently channeled his swagger, we felt it only right to pay homage and name it after the legend.

THE ARTIST

This space has all of the ingredients to be one of our most show-stopping spaces, yet it is not demanding attention. It’s too balanced and well-rounded. It has been curating in the combined minds of our clients and designers and was only brought to fruition through the unique combination of all of these at once. The copper patina hood is a tribute to the client's beloved collection of teal artwork. Natural Light encompasses the room shined through immense architerctural windows. Waterfall arrangements are celebrated throughout, yet most illustrious is the floor to ceiling cherry wood detail - suspending from the ceiling above the island to the large format floor tile.

MARMO

The start of the Italian marble (marmo) industry can be traced back to the early renaissance period but became prolific during the Roman Empire. Most of the industry can be found in what is called the Carrara Valley, also called Province of Massa-Carrara, which is situated on the border of Liguria and Emilian Romagna. This kitchen is a manifestation of modern day marble usage with marble counters, a marble apron sink, and a marble backsplash.

QUEEN CHRISTINA

Queen Village, Philadelphia is a historic community along the Delaware River. As the oldest settled area of Philadelphia, Queen Village contains many of the city’s oldest houses. This Kitchen, Named after Queen Christina of Sweden, is our way of recognizing the Swedish role in promoting the original Philadelphia settlements and bringing a certain European style to the neighborhood.
